Serious About Safety
Accident prevention is the responsibility of all students and employees. Preventing accidents shall be a primary consideration in all phases of our training, operation, and administration. It is our intention as The John J. Lanigan Sr. Training Academy (JJLSTA) to provide a safe and healthy workplace. JJLSTA will establish and insist upon safe work practices by all students and employees at all times.
Safety Starts With Training
Each student and employee must accept and follow all established safety, loss control and risk management regulations and procedures.
- JJLSTA believes that safety starts with proper training
- JJLSTA will provide training to all of our students who enter any class
- Students and employees must help to prevent accidents
- Housekeeping is everyone’s responsibility
- Unsafe conditions must be reported immediately to management
Gold Standard Training
An old technical jest holds that “Every 20-minute job is one broken bolt away from becoming a 3-day ordeal”. John J Lanigan Sr. knew that firsthand, so when he resolved that his would be a company , he made a commitment to Gold standard training that reached its ultimate level in the Training Academy that bears his name.

Training not only helps technicians given the tools do the job right, first time, every time. It also fosters a culture of safety, dedicated to the proposition that they go home to their families at the end of their shift as safe and sound as they were when they clocked in.
