Installs, dismantles, or moves machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, or other drawings. Aligns machines or equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, lasers, or plumb bobs. Assembles and installs equipment, using hand tools and power tools. Assembles machines, and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools. Attaches moving parts and subassemblies to basic assembly unit, using hand tools and power tools. Bolts parts, such as side and deck plates, jaw plates, and journals, to basic assembly unit.
Upon Completion of this program, you will receive:
- Mi-Jack Certified Field Erection Technician Certification
- 6 pay bumps (one every 500 hour / 6 months) over the course of the program
- Regional placement as a Mi-Jack Certified Crane Erection Technician
